About The Brian Ayers Memorial Exhibition

The 2010 Brian Ayers Memorial Exhibition is a national juried exhibition celebrating the unusual artistic ability of young people with learning disabilities, ages 7-21. Their work is now on display in Center Court of Boone Mall, Boone, North Carolina. There are 69 pieces of artwork on display, representing artists from eleven states.

The twenty works on display here were selected by our juror as showing special artistic merit. Each of these artists will receive a $50 award courtesy of the exhibition sponsor, Boone Mall, at our catered Awards Reception on August 22nd — which is the final day of the exhibition.
