This website is a documentary of the life of Martin Luther King Jr. during his years advocating for racial unity. This website provides information about his position on the Vietnam War, his records with the FBI, his most powerful preachings, and other resources of the last month of his life.

American School Counselor Association

The American School Counselor Association (ASCA) supports school counselors' efforts to help students focus on academic, personal/social, and career development so they achieve success in school and beyond. ASCA provides professional development, publications and other resources, research and advocacy to more than 31,000 professional school counselors.

American Speech-Hearing Association: Muticultural Resources

The American Speech-Hearing Association's Office of Multicultural Affairs (OMA) addresses cultural and linguistic diversity issues related to professionals and persons with communication disorders and differences.

AmeriCorps (Corporation for National and Community Service)

Ancient Mesopotamia: This History, Our History

This is an interactive website created by school teachers in collaboration with the University of Chicago and the Oriental Institute Museum. This website provides information about the Mesopotamia, including items related to its architecture, culture, language, history, etc. This interactive website also offers the opportunity to access the museum online, explore subjects of interest, and expand on specific subjects about the Mesopotamia period up to today's date. In-class and group activities for research and exploration are provided, as well as guided lesson plans and other materiasl for teachers.

Annie E. Casey Foundation

Working with neighborhoods and state and local governments, the Foundation provides grants to public and nonprofit organizations to strengthen the support services, social networks, physical infrastructure, employment, self-determination, and economic vitality of distressed communities. One of several initiatives includes supporting comprehensive education reform in the states: for example, school/community partnerships; school-based accountability; and smaller class size.

App Finder: Tools for Life

This database from Georgia Tech allows users to search for apps by disability or multiple disabilities as well as by price ranges and device types. Every app has been used and/ or tested by one or more members of the Tools for Life team along with peers from across the country including members of other Assistive Technology (AT) Act Programs, physical, occupational and speech language therapists; AT professionals; people with disabilities and other leaders in the disability community. You will also find reviews and comments from apps users.

Arabic Language Resources

Arizona Education Association is a National Education Association State Affiliate that regularly lobbies legislators for the resources schools need, campaigns for higher professional standards for the teaching profession, and files legal actions to protect academic freedom and the rights of school employees.
