Indiana State Parent Information Resource Centers

The purpose of the Indiana Partnerships Center is to provide parents throughout Indiana with the skills and knowledge they need to become more actively engaged in the educational lives of children, and to encourage schools to receive parents as true partners in the educational process.

Indiana State Teachers Association

Indiana State Teachers Association is a National Education Association State Affiliate that regularly lobbies legislators for the resources schools need, campaigns for higher professional standards for the teaching profession, and files legal actions to protect academic freedom and the rights of school employees.

Indiana TESOL

INTESOL is the Indiana affiliate of Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages and is an all-volunteer group comprised of teachers, professors, administrators and university students.

Institute for Urban and Minority Education

Funded by the U.S. Department of Education's Office of Education Research and Improvement, this page offers manuals, brief articles, annotated bibliographies, reviews and summaries of outstanding publications, and announcements of conferences in urban education. Many of the resources deal with language minority students.
