Council for Exceptional Children
The Council for Exceptional Children (CEC) is the largest international professional organization dedicated to improving educational outcomes for individuals with exceptionalities, students with disabilities, and/or the gifted. Council for Exceptional Children: Division of Learning Disabilities
The Division for Learning Disabilities (DLD) is one of 17 special interest groups of the Council for Exceptional Children (CEC). DLD works on behalf of students with learning disabilities and the professionals who serve them. DLD promotes efforts to meet the needs of more 2.8 million school-aged children and youth currently receiving special education services for identified learning disabilities in the United States.

International Dyslexia Association
The International Dyslexia Association is an international, non-profit organization dedicated to the study and treatment of the learning disability, dyslexia. IDA supports and encourages interdisciplinary study and research, facilitates the exploration of the causes and early identification of dyslexia and is committed to the responsible and wide dissemination of research-based knowledge.
International Multisensory Structured Language Education Council
The International Multisensory Structured Language Education Council (IMSLEC) accredits quality Multisensory Structured Language Education training courses. Accredited courses meet IMSLEC criteria and instructional program standards for preparing specialists in Multisensory Structured Language Education.
International Reading Association
