Located in the College of Education on The University of Texas at Austin campus, this center is committed to providing leadership to educators in effective reading instruction through its diversified research, technical assistance, and professional development projects.
Verizon Reads is the umbrella organization for Verizon's national literacy platform. Established in 1999, Verizon Reads is dedicated to the fight for a more literate America through meaningful programs that create awareness, raise funds, and encourage collaboration among literacy providers.

Vietnamese American Civics Association (VACA)
Founded in 1984 as a Mutual Assistance Association (MAA), VACA provided an array of services designed to help Vietnamese refuges and immigrants to address daily living needs, successfully adjust to a new country, culture and language and achieve economic self-sufficiency. Services offered by VACA include: naturalization assistance, ESL, employment services, social services and health education.
Vietnamese Culture and Science Association (VCSA)
Vietnamese Culture and Science Association (VCSA) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) whose main goals are promoting harmony and cooperation amongst Vietnamese Americans, especially in the fields of Culture and Science, and providing a multi-faceted environment where young Vietnamese American professionals can exchange ideas, share skills, and participate in the building of a strong Vietnamese-American community.
