Subject: NonVerbal Learning Disorder..
My 12 1/2 year old son has recently been diagnosed with NVLD.
I am researching this, and would be very interested in corresponding with other parents who have children with the same diagnosis.
I am also interested in the possibility of homeschooling him and would like to hear advice/opinions etc.

My child is 10 and also diagnosed with NVLD. I am also a special education teacher. I find it is getting harder as he gets older to help him maintain a positive self esteem. Written expression is very difficult and as he has gotten older there is so much more writing required.

I still have not gotten past finding out how much anger my son has had in him at classmates/teachers..it has taken us a long haul to get this diagnosis, and I am attempting to do everything I can to become informed and make life better/maybe easier for him!
We are lucky that our children have laptops in school so my Matthew does a lot of 'typing' at this time vs writing..
I would love to chat more with you!
