Subject: is 25 to old to go back to college?
especially when considering the fact that it's harder to study when you're older not to mention LD.

I don't think its too old.
But then I'm 44 and thinking about going back to school myself.
Seriously, my 26 year old newphew went back to school last fall after dropping out of two colleges ealier. He is now doing better because he knows, for sure, that this is what he wants to do. He also knows that he will have to study more than some of his co-students and he dicided that was okay before he went back.
If you are willing to do the work, go for it.

I went back when I was thirty-seven and did a math degree and it worked out very well.
I have taught adult students too. Generally they do much better than the younger kids. No, you don't have to study more because you're an adult; often the addded knowledge and experience you have built up means you have less work to do.

For me, learning (everything) gets easier the older I get. But no matter what, its never too late to go back to school :)

It is not too late for you to go back to school. I went back when I was 24. I am still currently in school. It is hard sometimes, but there is a lot of support out there. My school councelor is wonderful. I am studying special education and will finally graduate next year! Good luck to you. Be assured that it can be done. Don't give up on yourself. ~Bridget

The answer is "No, not if you have compensated for your LD, or you will get "Reasonable Accomodations" for your LD Issues.

It is never, ever too late to go back to school. Just never, ever And I shall tell you something, if you are only 25; then you will only be a good two years older than most of the seniors anyways...that is not a big deal.
Victoria is a good example of going back to school as an adult and she went back to study math. I am a fair example because I am 31 and have a math l.d. and am in school now and shall be going to a private Uni in the fall.
It never matters how old you are with schooling, and do not worry. The last thing the porfessor will think about when they are grading a test is your age! Good luck to you.
