On this site there is a section called "LD Resources". Go to the "State by State Guides" link (4th link down) and you will find a list of organizations.
There you can find out from them about testing.
Most community colleges have programs for LD adults; no matter the age. These programs include various methods of assistance to help LD adults with college.
Good luck to you. Don't let them tell you that you can't do something. :)
I started attending a couple of non-credit courses at my county college on September 28th and I'm 43. They told my mother when I was 17 I would never go to college (among other things) because of my disabilities.

I was wondering if any one could tell me where to go to be tested for LD. I was tested several years ago at College but it was a horrible experience. Then they basically told me to forget college that I was a loser (loser is the nice term I used to compaired what they labled me) I also want to get back into college. I realize now what I truly want to do. Does any one know of colleges that work specially with LD older adults?

Just because I am LD, does NOT mean I cannot do anything.
People grow and change. What experts say back then about yourself may not still be true years to come. I have done things experts have said in the past I would never do.
