Do check on the resources the college has. SOmetimes they have faculty tutors, even (or people like me :-)), or online options they've researched, or peer tutoring (here, peer tutors have pretty high standards and pretty good training, though it's not a good match for everybody... or they wouldn't have hired me ;-))
We also have "facilitated study groups" that are 'facilitated' by faculty and beau coup office hours for faculty.
*Major* advantage - they will know exaclty what demands **his courses** have.
