Incorporating Social Skills into lessons

In classroom with enumerable levels, curriculums, etc., how do you appropriately teach social skills lessons while also hitting all academic areas? I teach a self contained 5/6 classroom with students' levels ranging from k-4. Obviously life skills and social skills are very important to teach these students with such levels. How do you fit it all in in such a short time?
