Subject: Fluency Action Plan
Our third grade team is beginning a fluency action plan for struggling readers. Any helpful suggestions would be appreciated.

Take a look at Great Leaps (http://www.greatleaps.com ). Ken C, who posts here occasionally, is the author. This is a really good program for use in the classroom.
If you have parent help available and/or volunteers who can work one-on-one with the children, the BRI RALP books are excellent. You can find out more about them by joining the group Beginning-Reading-Instruction at http://group.yahoo.com
