Suggested LD Websites

Currently I'm working towards a BA in Chemistry and Biology Education. I'm interested in being prepared for the special education side of teaching as well as understanding the different types of learning disorders out there. If anyone could please send me a list of suggested websites on specific and/or generic disorders I would really appreciate it. "Life without living is merely existence...."

The Council for Exceptional Children is an excellent resource for anyone interested in learning more about Special Education. http://www.cec.sped.org The National Dissemination Center for Children with Disabilities provides excellent information about specific disabilities. http://www.nichcy.org/ The A to Z Teacher Stuff website has great forums for all subjects. http://forums.atozteacherstuff.com/index.php
