Hi, I'm really struggling at the mo with uni, could do with some advice of some sort, not sure what kind exactly.
I'm finding it very stressful, I've always hated education, with a passion, I was only diagnosed with dyslexia at the beginning of the year, I know understand why I hate it so much!
My dyslexia is caused by short term auditory memory defect. My general memory is just really bad. I was given a printer some sofware, a PDA and a laptop, which is great, but it doesn't help me with my time, it just seems to take me so much more time then other people to do things.
I'm doing a film production course, I'm an editor, so am I'm doing a lot of that at home, so I can concentrate. I'm finding it really difficult to balance everything I need to do, the paperwork, the editing and turning up to lessons. I'm behind in all three. I rarely go out socialising, I'm always here trying to get stuff done.
I get distracted easily, and find it very difficult to sit down and work, even though I have the best intentions, when I do I find it difficult to stay there and make slow progress.
When I turn up to lessons, I usually skip out, cus I can't stand it any longer and find it difficult to get myself there in the first place, esp when I have so much other stuff to do.
I'm just so stressed all the time, I'm really not coping very well.
If anyone has any advice, that would be great, thanks.
