another newbie

I love this site!! I am in my early 40's and when I was a kid I knew that I had some sort of problem. I was able to hold onto two great careers, one for 10 years the other for 11. Both careers caused me a huge amount of stress and anxiety. It drove me crazy because I would watch my colleagues work without getting stressed out to the point of an anxiety attack and they were doing the exact same work. I hit rock bottom when I became severely depressed and got PTSD from something horrid that happened to me. All that did was compound my AD/HD and LD. I am still at rock bottom, but I am working with a coach and they found the right meds for me for depression and ad/hd. It has been hell I have to say. I swear if there was a way to do surgery on my brain even if it were experimental I would do it.
Hopefully my next post will be more up-beat!!!
