Subject: need testing center
Hi All,
I want my son to take Keymath or Woodcock-Johnson Tests of Achievement III tests.
I homeschool him.
I cannot for the likes of me find a testing center in my area. I have googled "testing center" etc but have not come up with an address.
Where do you get these tests done?
What kind of center are they? What is the proper name?
I live in Bethesda, Maryland which is right out of DC and on the boarder of Virginia - in case, someone knows of a center near me.
Thanks,
Joan

You can request testing through your local school district. Part of education law is called Child Find which requires districts to test kids, even those in private or homeschool situations.

These are tests that you don't have to be a psychologist to give, too (unlike IQ tests). I'd contact LD schools in your area (right now I can't think of the names of any where you are) - I gave those tests when I was a teacher and would have been glad to do one "on the side."
