The special ed. department in my school is looking for new and better ways to schedule our students' times in the resource room. Currently, we schedule our classes according to the general ed. teachers' schedules, so that when they do math, all of their students with math disabilities go to the resource room, for ex. This has resulted in too many students and too many ability levels in our rooms at one time and has been quite ineffective. We would also like to know how other schools support students in science and social studies.
We have 4 special service teachers who serve grades 3-5.
