Subject: Substitute Teacher Needs Help!
I just found out that I will be subbing for the High School Spec Ed teacher for the first 2 weeks of school (she broke her foot). I have subbed in this class before, but not for a long period of time. The principal will be helping me with the curriculum. I have very small classes ranging from 2 - 6 kids. These are kids with slight learning disabilities. What advice could you give me? I really like these kids and want to get them off on a good start. Any helpful hints from anyone? Thanks!

Purdy,
Will you be running a resource room for those 2 weeks, or will you be teaching them in a self contained content area class? If in a self-contained class, what subject(s)?
