Subject: Is 1st grade too young for lindamood bell programs?

We have a 7 year old girl in 1st grade that struggles with math concepts. She is also delayed in speech. She has been is speech since 21 months old. She is also receiving OT (she has always been just a little behind on her motor skills, she has hypotonia) She is doing very well now though. She is reading above grade level and seems to comprehend. She is being tested at school (finally) after requesting a Student Study team. She is being tested for academics (LD) and attention deficit. She has HUGE problems with more than 2 step directions and organization. We are thinking she might have an Auditory processing disorder. We are thinking of lindamood bell. We know how expensive it is, but are willing to help her in any way. We are just not sure if she is too young. Should we wait until after her 2nd grade year or start now? If anyone with a child this young that started at lindamood bell is out there and could tell me your experiences that would be great.

Thank you.
