Still getting use to something new...is anyone familiar with Wilson substep 2.4? Im not sure how to tap out words with 5 sounds that have "welded" sounds, for example..skunk, blink, etc.. the manual wasn't quite clear. Do these "welded" sounds get boxed when marking up?
Thanks!

I don't remember the marking up, but to tap them: say "skunk" for example: the /s/ gets 1 tap, the /k/ gets the second tap, and the /unk/ is tapped together as described in 2.1 - the last three fingers "glued" together and touching the thumb.
Good luck - my student REFUSED to tap (5th grade at the time, said it was babyish), so I picked my battles and stopped. I don't think it's hurt him - we are on Step 10.1 and he is reading the grade-level books!
