Does anyone have any tips, thoughts, advice or genral insight into voice recognition. I'm a college student a GW-by the by if one is thinking about colleges gw is horrid. They cost more then a school for the blind but do as little as they can to help out students w/ ld-and I'm looking into new ideas for writting papers. W/ all of my upper leavel classes being only graded by papers i'm slipping.
I have strong speaking and debating skills but I'm not sure If it will help take my oral converastion of the issues and turn it into a college paper.
Any help would be great. I have a mac and i've heard the apple software is not that great.

My son has been using Dragon speech recogniton on his PC for about 3 years. I think they have a version now for the Mac. I ended up having a Dragon professional train him and it made it a lot easier. It is pretty accurate. The technology for speech recognition keeps improving. I think it is definitely something you should look into.
