Diagnosis of NLD?

I will be taking an assessment this month for a diagnosis of NLD. One test that I'm concerned about is the VarSchauch (Might be misspelled pronounced Vor- Shock). That's the test with 10 ink blot plates that you're supposed to desribe to your examiner. Everything I've read about the test is neagative; most sites call it "pseudoscience" (like young earth creationism) and recommend that you don't take it. My psych inisted that's one of the instruments used to diagnose nld. Should I be concerned or not?
