Help!

Hi! I don't know whether or not this is the right place to find the answer to my question, but I am taking a course on special ed. law and my professor recommended this site. If a student with learning and behavioral disabilities reacted in a verbally aggressive manner in a public place such as a shop and was found to have a small amount of marijuana in his possession, what would happen to him? Would the consequences differ from those which would occur in a school setting?

Any help or referrals you could give me would great. Thank you so much!
