I am writing a special ed blog to bring more attention to the ordeals parents face. I welcome everyones input. You are absolutely right about lack of training for teachers. I too have been on the long road to teach my child to read. My son is now at a four year college!! I will look at your blog. Thanks. I can't even find the article the prior post was referring to about teachers lacking knowledge. Maybe if I had a specific question in mind, I can sort through the articles.
