Subject: sleeping issues?

Hello everyone,

I’m new to this group. I’ve been reading a lot of your struggles with ADHD. Do any of your kids have sleeping problems? There is a website with a survey about ADHD and children you might want to check out: http://tiny.cc/bKZ0K

If your kids have sleeping issues because of their ADHD, how do you deal with it?

12 son has sleeping issues (staying asleep). He takes ADHD Rx. We have started (Jan. 2009) a Rx called Zypraxia (spell?) Its in the Abilify family, but seems to help a lot. Our son is 5 feet and 80 lbs, so he only takes 3 mg.

Our family psychologist has mentioned a connection between sleeping disorders/problems and L.D.'s, but not much research, maybe more now.
