choosing a school in Illinois

I am moving to Illinois, the west suburbs outside of the Chicago area.
Does any one know how to/where to research, or know of a public school with a qualified/consistent Special Education Department. My 3rd grader has an IEP and had Dyslexia/Central auditory processing. He is reading at a 1st grade level. What would be the best way to
find a nice town with great support? thanks
