I have a diagnosis of ADHD-inattentive type. I really struggle with punctuation, writing organization and it took me a while to learn to read(I know how to spell). I would really appreciate it if anybody could offer me some coping strategies.
Slightly related: Reading took me a while. While I never learned phonics I eventually grasped the gestalt of reading. Is that normal for kids that have difficulty starting reading?
Have you considered using a graphical mapping program like Inspiration to help you visually map a topic and graphically organize an outline?
