Subject: High School Foreign Language Waiver
Hi,
Does anyone have a good alternative way for their child to receive foreign language credit in High School? My 10th grader is dyslexic and loves all things French but cannot learn it in the traditional classroom way.
Thanks!

What about ASL (American Sign Language)? It's what my daughter will be taking this year. My sister took it in college for her Language requirement.

What about Rosetta Stone? She could learn french at home at her own speed. I haven't used it myself but I think it has gotten good reviews.

Thank you both for the good ideas. I also am exploring a conversational only class but don't know how she could then pass tests/exams.
