Subject: Rant on students correcting other students work
Well I did not think with the past news article on this that it would happen to my third grade daughter, but it did! I am writing a note to teacher as a focus of concern. My daughter cannot read well and therefore cannot correct another childs work and another child would not be able to read her inventive spellings.I believe it would be better for her to correct her own mistakes as more can be learned from correcting ones own mistakes. So I am going to try to get into her IEP for her not correct someone elses work or another student correct hers.It just irratates me that I have to do this. Thanks for listening.

Yes, just in the accomodations and modifications section request:
No peer grading
Sometimes they will follow it.

No kidding. Doesn't that just about sum up everything a parent requests on an IEP?
