Subject: Sing, Spell, Read & Write

I am using PGx (and "Bob Books") and HWT with my son pretty successfully and our charter school is trying to talk me into SSR&W. My gutt is telling me stick with what is already working...is there any reason I should consider switching? Thanks!

PASSWORD>aa4um5Lp2CxdUMy experience over the last few years has led me to conclude that you are usually better off sticking with a program unless you or your kids are unhappy with it. When you switch to something new, there is an adjustment period for you and your child- every program does things in a different order, so you usually end up back tracking to make sure you aren't missing something, and the format of lessons is different, so you have to get used to a new routine. I have core dumped curriculum in the middle of the year when my son was unhappy with it, but if something is working pretty well, I don't change just because the grass looks greener on the other side. Besides, SSRW will be more expensive and take more time than what you're doing now.Jean: I am using PGx (and "Bob Books") and HWT with my son pretty

Thank you so much for your input...it gives me encouragement to do what my gutts are telling me (stay with PGx...he loves it!).Nadine
