social skills program for ld 11 year old

: I am prepareing for my daughters IEP for next year, and would like to
: include a good social skills program for her to learn
: interpersonal skills (particularly friendship skills,changing

: and cognitively impared, she is academically about a 6 year old

: advance Paula** We have adopted a program called Second Step at the school that I work at. It has a curriculum and its own web page. Second Step teaches units on Empathy, Anger Management, and Problem Solving. It has leesons developed from Kindergarten-8th grade level. I cannot say enough about the program!!!
