I only wish I would have found this board sooner, it has been a tremendous help. It can been very frustrating and lonley trying to meet the needs of a "special" child. The schools aren't always forthcoming with information and assistance, I found them to be barely adequate.We as parents really do have to be our kids' best advocates. Watching my son grow into a wonderful young man only srenghtens my determination in helping him acheive an education, regardless of the struggle.He's worth it.
