Subject: Dysgraphia - software to help with writing

I'm 52 years old and for the 10th time I'm attempting to get through college classe. Can any one recommend software to help me with writing?

Hi
My son uses Read & Write have a look at this web site www.texthelp.com/support/support.asp?section=support
then go to products in top left hand corner. They also have I think it's Word smith which scans and does everything Read & Write does.

He uses this program to correct his spelling, It has prediction Thesaurus, word wizzard, Reads your work and lots more. You can also put words you always mispell in auto correct and everytime you spell that word incorrectly it will change it . He really likes that.
He tried Dragon Naturally Speaking but found it hard to train. This is a good program if you can train it properly

Some people like Kurzweil or Wynn but they are expensive
Hope that helpsNancy wrote:

What do you need help with?
TextHelp! is good -- we just put it into the computer lab where I work with college students trying to get through writing & math classes -- and even Microsoft Word does a pretty good job w/ spelling correction.

What services does the college have? Do you have a documented LD? That can sometimes make it easier -- sometimes the good software's down in the Disabilities office. (Here we've got a lab dedicated to students in developmental level classes, with or without the disabled tag.) There should be somebody (like me ;)) who will be glad to show you different software and guide you through using it so you can figure out just what helps you the best.
