ADD help tips for studying

Submitted by an LD OnLine user on

After finally being diagnosed with ADD almost a year ago (it should have been found when I was 8 according to my doctor, but I apparantly was cleaver enough to stay under the radar), I slowly learned little tricks to help me with studying. Making lists totally helps and planning out what to do with your time, it keeps you on track so you dont get distracted. Also, and this is my latest discovery, my ipod really, really helps with reading (reading has always been difficult for me because outside noises distract me). Hearing music that is constant and with no words, like classical and some techno/trance music, really helps keep you focused and not distracted by the things around you.

Hope this helps!
Jon
