Adults with Congenital Dysphasia

Submitted by an LD OnLine user on

My daughter was diagnosed with congenital dysphasia since she was 4 years old, and now she is 17 years old. I often see postings about other LD’s but not as often information about this LD.

Last year and this year have been the most difficult for her in terms of school work, and I do worry about how she will adjust in the upcoming years and would really appreciate to hear from any adults who have lived with this LD and did they experience difficulties once out of high school and what coping skills have they developed?
