Children's toys that might help with LD's

Submitted by an LD OnLine user on

The past few Christmases I have been buying Leap Frog educational toys for my little girl that is Autistic. She has 10 but has been tested at a speech level of a 18 month old. (now that was 2 years ago). I bought one that helps with spelling and also sounds of different letters. Also a math one for her addition fact and so on an so forth. Well, I find they help me also. Especially if you have problems learning your multiplication tables and division. Also they have a book that will help you learn how to read and the sound of the words. I have problems with pronouncing my words. I have found that book as even helped me with some words I have mispronouncing…..Just thought I would pass this along. You might want to check out their website. I think it’s just www.leapfrog.com but I could be wrong…Hope I don’t get in trouble in passing on a product that might help…I guess I will find out huh?
