College and the LD and/or AD/HD Student

Submitted by an LD OnLine user on

Hello:

More and more students are being diagnosed with learning disabilities
and/or AD/HD. A higher percentage of these students are entering college. It is important to understand what support has been
helpful in these students’ academic endeavors.

IF YOU HAVE TAKEN COLLEGE CLASSES, ARE A CURRENT COLLEGE STUDENT, OR IF YOU ARE A COLLEGE GRADUATE, you are being invited to participate in a study that will collect data concerning accommodations and support that you may have received or are currently receiving as a student with learning disabilities and/or AD/HD. Attitudinal factors regarding what type and source of support was most helpful in addressing your learning disability and/or AD/HD in various educational settings will be explored.

You may access this survey by clicking below or pasting the URL on your
web browser.

Your participation will help inform educators, parents, and other
professionals on how best to provide support for students with learning
disabilities and or AD/HD. Completion of this survey is voluntary, but
the results will hopefully make a difference in educational attainment
of future generations of children with learning disabilities and or AD/HD.

Thank you for your assistance in this very important research.
