I found major improvments in my life when I began to study and understand how the brain works. How colours and sounds and sights and tactile sensations ares ingested and stored and used as references to new information.
Just imagine if you will what your braind would do if one day you were walking down the street and you heard a police siren so you trun to see the police car and instead of the usual car you see the car has no wheels but horses legs isntead, or the car is bright pink and with neon green stripes. Your eyys would send that info to the brain and the brain would sit up and take notice and be startled and temp put into a flight or fight mode. Want to talk more?

I think everyone here would agree that your eyes might see one but by the time the eye relays it to your brain. Your brain processes it different….but some how my eyes see’s your e-mail address and my brain isn’t precessing it different!!! I think if we all want to talk about your subject we need to keep it on this board not to your e-mail address.

Steve your E-mail is a bit off the hook. I have a lot of wise ass thoughts regarding memory and orgasm. But in reality the hypothalamus wich is located in the R-complex of the brain plays a role in memory as well as orgasms. Seeing as you have some insights on memory and perhaps orgasms, maybe you could enlighten us on the difference between false memories and fake orgasms. Sorry I couldn’t resist. LOL

Hormones certianly play a role in brain functions and it sure is tough for pubescent kids add LD or ADD to the mix and life will suck. I can’t keep up with my girlfriend’s hormonal fluctations and mood swings. My fishing and golf schedule has generally been dictated by her hormonal tides but lately all I can predict is unpredictability
