LAID OFF W/LD

Submitted by an LD OnLine user on

Hello my name is Cheri. I am in my late 30’s and I’ve been laid off since April 2011. I have 15 yrs of Customer Service and Administrative Experience. I also have a Certificate in Clerical Services (now called Business Service and Support) from the Threshold Program at Lesley University.

I would appreciate any advice someone could give me about getting a full time job in the Marketing/Adversiting industry as either an Administrative Assistant or Customer Care Representative.

Also, I have a passion to help today and tomorrow’s adults with LD find support (however they define support for themselves). My dream is to work at the National Center for Learning Disabilities in NYC to put this goal in place.

So if anyone has an contacts or advice please contact me. I am also on linkedin http://www.linkedin.com/in/ccandelori.

Thank you
