Hi Everyone, I am new to this site and am seeking some help. I am a COTA for a school district. One of my students is now a junior in high school and still does not have functional legible writing. We have worked on this for many years and not much has changed. We have done activities like writing to a famous person to highlight the importance of writing, we ended up typing the letter and sending it. The student is very functional on a computer and will do well in life with all of the online capabilities, but there will be times that he will have to write to fill out forms or on the job notes etc. I am wondering if anyone has any ideas on strategies of accomodations to this issue. We have discussed asking others to fill out job applications and things that aren’t immediate. I hope I am making sence and someone has some good thought or ideas for me.
