would like to talk to someone who had an ld that is an adults trying to find some chat rooms where you can talk to someone every day that has an ld. i can’t seemto find one. i would appreciate someone that can help me or would like to talk to me thank you.

Hi - I read your e-mail with interest. I believe I have adult hyperlexia and would like to chat with other adults (diagnosed/undiagnosed). I tried Hyperlex Listserv at maelstrom.stjohns.edu, but it’s a group that deals primarily for parents with children with hyperlexia. If you know of any support groups for adult hyperlexia, I’d like to hear from you. Thanks for your message. John.

There is a chat several times a week with some of the people that post on the boards here. Look for reminders from “socks.”
I am a great listener. I have two LD boys and from all the work and reading I’ve done for them, I think its possible that I have very similar processing issues. I definitely have experience and always have an opinion.

most of the well known internet sites, such as aol, yahoo, msn, and etc. have chatrooms daily for individuals with LD, ADD, general disability and other health related issues.

I have a ld myself but I’m not sure which one I have yet I’d like to find out if possible.
I don’t know of any LD internet sight that you can talk to someone daily. You might just want to try to make some friends on-line. You can try LDPride.net, they only have a chat twice a month. Unfortunately I don’t make it beacuse it’s on a Saturday night, But I’ve met some real nice people there. You’re always welcome to e-mail me.
