Hi!

Sounds like life is tough for you right now. Hang in there. Can you talk to your language teacher about how you feel? She or he should be able to put you in touch with people who can help. If not, I have other suggestions but that person would be best because they know what options are available locally.

I’d hesistate writing to e-mails of people I don’t know. You never know if they mean well or are looking to cause trouble. For example, Brian is being very rude on other boards. I’d hate him to pretend to be your friend and then turn rude. If Brian has some good ideas, he can post them here. That way, not only are you helped but also people who feel the same way but are to shy to post.

Take care and write back if you’d like.

Infants usually can’t suck their thumb for a number of weeks after they’re born - you must have some impressive motor skills. And you’re must be doing something right if you manage to keep friends who tell you not to use knives.

School is not for everybody and it was never intended to be. Schools need people to fail in them - school is set up that some people must fail.

If you possibly can, try not to take it to heart. People with learning disabilities can do just fine in life - school’s the problem, not you. Some very successful people have learning disabilities and you could be one more of them.

If you’re using a knife, you will of course likely end up in jail. But you could end up living independently of your parents - you’re 18 - why do you need their permission to move out?
