feedback on work

Submitted by an LD OnLine user on

I recently received a critique from my supervise that I am too “intense” or too passionate over work related issues. Thus, he would not be encourage me to go for a position.

This can be true at times that I am a passionate and intense and stand up for what I believe in.

Of course this can be good at times. But for peace at this job what are some strategies to be more layed back and less intense in issues? How do you allow issues to roll by and not get intense though you may not agree etc. or let office politics roll over by and get emotionally tied to them etc.? Is this also commonly found with LD adults etc. What are some strategies on not letting work related issues get to you readily?

Thank you for your sincere feedback on this matter!!!!
