Hi, I am hoping someone can help me. A few months ago I read in a magazine a story about a 10 year old black girl who didn’t have any friends to play with at recess. She was always alone. Her working Mom had no idea of this, but when she found out she took action and as a result the school assigned the child a teen peer who helped her make friends. I really want to find that article because I want to try and do something similar for my 8 year old child. Does this story ring a bell with someone. It could have been in any of the ladies magazines.
