I recently hear the suggestion to use a pager to cue a child with autism when it would be good time for him to respond in a social situation-any thoughts?
Depends on the level of autism. many kids in the spectrum wouldn’t associate the sounds of the pager or the vibration of a pager with a task. Kids high on the spectrum would be able to follow. Worth a try.
