Through a post on other site I come across a video called F.A.T. City. It is a video about how it feels to be in a classroom with a learning disability. Very good. After this video their is a new video called Beyond F.A.T. City. I asked my library to purchase it. They gladly did and I watch it today.
It showed how the learning disabilities/differences effect a person socially.
Not that a child is a problem but that a child has a problem.
A child would rather look bad than dumb.
It gave me a lot to think about. I am still trying to absorb it all. Just though I would pass it along.
It was the only thing I have come across that explains why my son reacts at school and not at home. :D
