American Family Living in Spain Needs a Learning Specialist

Background:
Family from New York City, now living in northern Spain, seeking a master teacher or special educator to teach English and History to two boys during the school year.

Needed: Experienced learning specialist with teaching experience to support our two children (4th grade and 6th grade) while they attend school in Spain. Lessons will be incorporated into the school day. This is a full-time teaching position. Looking for a commitment of two years.
You should be passionate and creative about writing, and have a love for literature and history. This is a unique experience so you should be flexible as well as able to inspire!

You must have a Masters in Education, Special Education, English or History. Experience with teaching elementary age children as well as a variety of learners and learning styles, especially with learning disabilities is a plus. You must be able to develop our kids’ expressive language, writing and analytical reasoning skills in a creative way. Curriculum and lesson plan development experience essential.
Speaking Spanish preferable but not imperative.

Salary commensurate with experience and qualifications; we are looking for an experienced educator.
