[i]A conference for guidance counselors, principals and headmasters, special education teachers, educational consultants, psychologists, parents and students[/i]

On [b]Friday, April 9[/b], national experts Marybeth Kravets and Imy F. Wax, authors of The Princeton Review’s [i]K & W Guide to Colleges for Students with Learning Disabilities or Attention Deficit Disorder[/i], will set the morning’s tone with the first session, [b]“A Fit Like A Glove: Finding the Right College Is Easier Than You Think,”[/b] at Lynn University’s inaugural conference “Transitions 2010: High School to Higher Education - College Options for Students with Learning Differences.”

Matthew Cohen, a nationally recognized attorney whose expertise is in special education law, will discuss how college-bound students with learning differences can successfully obtain testing accommodations.

The daylong conference to be held in the Amarnick-Goldstein Concert Hall in the de Hoernle International Center on [b]Lynn University’s campus[/b] (3601 North Military Trail, Boca Raton, FL) begins at 7:45 a.m. and concludes at 4 p.m. The cost to attend is $40 for individuals, $35/person for groups of 3 or more, and students are free. The cost to attend includes breakfast and lunch.
