I’m a PhD researcher at Bangor University, Wales, UK. I’m carrying out a study looking at the physical and mental health of family carers of adults with a learning disabilityin the UK. This study is being conducted in collaboration with Mencap and Cartrefi Cymru (supporters of people with learning disabilities in the community.
I would very much appreciate your help with this project as I’m aiming on hearing the views of over 200 family carers across the UK on how your care role impacts on your health, what support you get with your care role and whether you have made plans for future care of your family member.
