I have 2 children who are LD and in school. I am homeroom mom for the class and i would love some suggestions for a very simple and easy project for the upcoming valentine party. Time is very limited. For Christmas I tried decorating cookies and bought paint and sponges. Did not go over well at all. There was paint everywhere. ANY SUGGESTION ?!!!!!
Thank you.

I love doing crafts-have Girl Scout troop- but you don’t specify the age level or ability of the class. The thin foam/paper in craft stores is teriffic for all kinds of projects. Even if you have to pre-cut shapes, the children can glue them on….hearts onto a picture frame, a pre-cut cardboard wreath or soup can (pencil holder-gift). Another good project (though fine motor should be fairly good) is to decorate sytrofoam wreaths w/ Valentine fabric….Pre-cut squares of various patterns….kids wrap material on pointy end of paintbrush…dip in glue, then jab into styrofoam wreath. Just add a bow-Comes out beautiful! just need to pre-cut LOTS of squares! (use pinking shears for great effect!)
