After the mission across the Atlantic we have decided that it is time to get everyone together for an event of knowledge and a bit of fun. Therefore, we are planning an event to spread ideas, learn from each other, and have a bit of fun regarding Dyspraxia and Neuro- Diversity!
*JOIN US on Saturday, September 2, 2006 for a meeting at the Dyspraxic Foundation Headquarters in Chicago!
12:00-3:00 We will meet to exchange ideas and discuss what the best means of raising awareness about Dyspraxia to the public are.
4:00-6:00 Lets take advantage of Chicago with a trip to the zoo! The zoo is across the street from the office and entrance is free!
7:00-?? Then, lets enjoy a meal together! The meal will be in a relaxed atmosphere so children and adults can truly see how special it is to be Neuro-Diverse, as well as learn about the dedication, the hard work, and the little tricks that make us each an amazing Neuro-Diverse Person in Society!
*The following day (Sunday) I would like to gather again so that we can visit one of the free museums in the city, or I can arrange a 10 pin bowling event!*
* As a new organization we are dependent on donations. Thus, the event in September will not only be used to help raise awareness, but will also allow donations to be made directly to the organization. This will allow us to continue our hard work and dedication to getting the word out about Neuro-Diversity!
